Guy at the bar last night said he loved eating pussy. He loved the smell. Pretzels and chocolate frosting. The snow is coming down slow and beautiful. The light is staying muchblonger now. There have been many other changes, many other ups and downs and I have endured. There is no reason to think I will not endure this time around as well. Maybe in a past life I was a painter. Words are what make the world go round. And good penmanship is important, even in this digital age. This brave new world. Water is also important. The cab driver wanted to be submerged fully in water. He wanted to heal. Yesterday, out on the open ice the wind whipped us. Open hand slapped our faces. It is cold for this time of year. My boss wants to maintain a sense of randomness, always; indefinitely. Loafty dreamer. Maybe the cat and I will exchange gifts tonight and have ourselves a merry little March 18th Christmas. Light candles, put up a tree…

Let's talk food!!!

It's that time of the year : frickin' cold out.
The time of the year when you just want to avoid the outdoors. Or at least today. It's -30. Yeeeah.
So in my avoidance of out of doors I made a bunch of food!
Yesterday I made guacamole. Yummers. Here is how I do it :

GUACAMOLE!
1 Avocado
1/4 Red Onion chopped
1/2 medium Tomato chopped
1 teaspoon garlic
2 teaspoons cumin
1 handful of Cilantro chopped
Salt and Pepper
1/3 fresh Lime juice squeezed in.
Mix it all up and eat!
It ends up a bit lumpy and less than perfect but I wasn't going for perfect anyway : )

BROCCOLI SALAD
Broccoli florets chopped to bitable sizes
a handful of grapes halved or quartered depending on size
walnuts chopped
greeen onions chopped
a good dollop of real mayo
mix 'er all up and you're good to go.

The Universe

I saw a short clip the other day. You remember when you were a kid and you learned that the planets circled the Sun? Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars then Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, right? There were a few that had kind of wonky trajectories but, you know, for the most part they just circled and the Sun was sort of portrayed as this passive mass that supported the livelihoods of the other planets, right? Well I saw this video the other day and it sort of blew my mind. (I am aware that I use "blew my mind", as does everybody else, way too often, but lets get to the point here.) So the sun is NOT passive. The sun is flying through space at like 70,000 kph and the planets are still circling but they are not passively circling, they are all every active in their objectives. Fascinating. Really, really cool. You should look it up.

I am a person who makes decisions based on other peoples moves. I think, maybe, most people are like this… but anyway, I find it very difficult when my job requires me to be more "self sufficient". I find it absolutely incongruent. I am not completely self sustaining, that's why I have a job where I do. These thoughts go round and round back and forth for years on end.

Okay, what about .....

Okay, what about those phone conversations that you're wrapping up and nobody knows quite where it ends and so it ends up the tow of you yelling at each other, "okay bye?" "Thanks for calling." "Yup, love you!" "Alright!" "Okay!" And it goes on for like 15 seconds of you both talking over each other about how much you enjoyed the convo and you'll see each other again soon and have a good day.....!

Okay, that was fucked up. I stopped at holiday in forest lake. The cashier was an asshole and threw my change at me and said have a nice night without any truth in it. Then I'm going to leave and there is this family I know. I've waited on them thru the years, they are super sweet and I got excited, even thought of getting out if my car to say hi but then I noticed what was really going on, they were making the kid drop. Yeah they're divorced or separated, I dunno but there was one family and two cars. Glad I didn't get out to say hi : )

Today I picked up my dress for my sister's wedding!
And paid off my car!!
And decided to up my monthly payment on my student loans :)
Yay!!!
Today feels great!
